On Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 10:00 am the Electoral Board will test and program the voting equipment to be used in the March 5, 2024 Republican and Democratic Presidential Primary elections.
This will be conducted in the basement level of the Floyd County Courthouse in the new jury room space. Each political party may have one representative present while the equipment is being tested and programmed. (Code of Virginia 24.2-633). Representatives shall be afforded the opportunity to see that the equipment is in proper condition for use at the election. The machine will then be sealed with a numbered seal and locked with a key.
